SEO, engineered.

Background screening across 180 countries. One content writer. A decade of competitor SEO moats to climb. We built an AI-augmented content engine — and country-by-country programmatic hubs that compound — and doubled Veremark's organic clicks within a year.

The short version

One writer. A whole category to climb.

Veremark had the product — 40+ background checks across 180 countries, trusted by PepsiCo, McDonald's, AXA, Wise, and Schneider Electric. What they didn't have was the organic engine to match it. One content writer, against competitors who'd been compounding SEO moats for a decade, and a product that kept moving — new countries, government partnerships, legislation changes — faster than any human could cover.

So we didn't hire a content team. We engineered one. AI-augmented production with human editorial at every stage. Programmatic Country Hubs, each localized to a market's screening law. A rapid-response pipeline that turned a legislation change into published, ranking content in days. Organic clicks doubled. Demos up 73%. Signups up 235%.

Chapter 00 · When we started

2023. Outpaced by their own product.

Veremark runs background screening — 40+ check types across 180 countries, trusted by PepsiCo, McDonald's, AXA, Wise, and Schneider Electric. The product was scaling globally. The organic presence was stuck locally.

One content writer. Competitors who'd spent a decade building search authority Veremark didn't have. And a product that kept outrunning its own content — every new market, every government partnership, every legislative change opened a topic nobody had written for yet.

You can't out-hire that gap. You have to out-engineer it.
What we built

A content engine, not a content calendar.

Most SEO is output — more posts, more often. We built the machine that produces the output, then the programmatic layer that makes each piece compound. Five parts.

We didn't write more. We built a system that writes.

Not “AI content” — an AI content system. AI-assisted drafting at the front, human editorial at every stage behind it, so the output scaled without the quality dropping. One operator, producing what usually takes a whole content team.

Dozens of original pieces shipped every month — consistently, not in bursts.

Every piece served one of three jobs.

Original content — the universal screening topics every market shares. Country Hubs — market-specific pages built around each country's legal and compliance reality. Optimization — existing posts rebuilt: current information, tighter internal linking, sharper keyword targeting.

Programmatic SEO that scales with the product.

Each hub covered a single market's screening law — legal requirements, compliance frameworks, local practice. Launched across an initial set of markets, then expanded as the results came in.

Country Hubs — launching market by market

The point is that they compound: more indexed pages, more internal links between them, more topical authority, more traffic — without more headcount. The hubs were the moat we were missing, built deliberately.

News into coverage, while it was still hot.

When a country changed its screening legislation, or Veremark announced a government partnership, we could ship relevant, ranking content in days — not the weeks a traditional agency needs to brief, draft, and approve. The engine turned news into coverage while the topic was still moving.

Bought demand reinforcing earned demand.

Market-specific paid campaigns with bespoke landing pages ran alongside the organic engine — so demand we created in search had a conversion path, and demand we bought reinforced the organic footprint.

For context

After our 2023–2025 engagement, Veremark raised a $26M Series B (February 2026, led by Gresham House Ventures) and now reports 300% revenue run-rate growth in 2025, 200+ staff across seven offices, and ~6,000 clients worldwide — the company's own momentum, not a Mazorda result.

“Mazorda's direction and management of paid and organic channels has been pivotal to Veremark's growth and global reach … Mazorda exceeded expectations by doubling our organic clicks, jumping from 72,000 to 146,000 within a year … we saw a 73% increase in demo requests and an impressive 235% rise in signups.”

The system we built

Not a content shop. A content engine.

This wasn't a retainer that produces posts. It's infrastructure that produces posts, ranks them, links them, and measures them — and keeps compounding.

01

AI-augmented production

AI drafting plus human editorial — throughput without the quality loss.

02

Programmatic Country Hubs

Per-market pages localized to screening law. They scale with the product, not with headcount.

03

Content operations

Audit → optimize → publish → measure → repeat. A loop, not a calendar.

04

Rapid-response pipeline

Legislation and partnership news into ranked content in days.

05

Intent-mapped keyword research

High-volume, low-competition targets tied to real buyer intent.

06

Internal-link architecture

Hubs that pass authority to each other and compound.

07

Organic → demo attribution

A clear line from content to demo requests.

08

Paid + organic integration

Market-specific paid reinforcing the organic footprint.
